US Donations to Canadian Charities
Do you have a donor in the USA that would like to make a donation to your organization, but would also like to receive a tax credit in the USA? Now they can!
CSS has partnered with Barnabas Foundation in the USA under the US Equivalency legislation to make this possible. The donor is able to make the donation in the USA, receive a donation tax deduction for use on his US tax return, and the funds can be directed to any registered Canadian charity. The first piece is a one pager (front and back) which provides this information in both a graphical format as well as in text. Not only is it eye catching, but gives you, our partner, one more piece in your toolkit to entice your donors to interact with CSS.
